We depart from the restaurant at 8:00 AM. If a pick up from
accommodations is required this can be done by prior arrangement.

From Whistler we travel by 4X4 Van to the Snowcat Staging Area and Powder Mountain Catskiing Base at the foot of Tricouni Peak, 20km south of Whistler.
At the Staging Area the guests transfer to the Snowcats, which are just like the groomers that you see on the hill except for the fact that they have a heated passenger cell, ski racks and panoramic windows which provides comfortable seating for 12 people.

They then proceed to about the 3,500 ft level for an avalanche transceiver safety course given by one of our lead guides. This is done in order to make guests feel more comfortable and familiar with our equipment, as well as to make sure we take every reasonable safety precaution that we can.

By approximately 9:30AM our guests will be at the 6,500 ft level, where they begin skiing for the day. An average day’s skiing consists of 6-8 runs, and a guaranteed minimum of 7,000 vertical feet. Most days we complete 10,000 ft vertical, with our longest run being up to 2,000 ft depending on snow conditions.

During the day guests will also be able to enjoy the splendid views of the area (weather permitting) and lunch on the mountain. The skiing ends at 4:30 PM, and guests are dropped off in town at their respective accommodations by 5:30 PM.
